A couple boats went out for salmon today and came back with some really nice rockfish. At least one of those fish was a lingcod pushing 20 pounds. The salmon fishing, unfortunately, was not as good . There's a bunch of tiny sand crabs in the surf and the surfperch are feeding on them. Mostly limits of perch for the surf fishermen today. There was even a striper taken, so who knows what's out there?

Debi Don ran out to weather buoy and did not get a scratch. Saw 7 commercial boats working the same area. saw three nice fish landed. No bait ,,clear water. I do not know how deep they were fishing. also went to fort ross for nice blacks and lings one copper and one china. nice day to be fishing . NO WIND.
