The Nursements sent in a late picture from last weekend, reportedly caught at the north end of Ten Mile Beach on the troll.
We had 10 to 20 knots of wind on the water today, making it the very definition of "fishable." Dan Riffle and company caught salmon to 26 pounds but had to make a slower trip home than normal.
Tom Treadway and his first mate came back from the Keyholes with three beauties, the largest two weighing 20 and 24 pounds. It was another slow ride for home for these fishermen, but I have a feeling that they might be going back tomorrow. The forecast for the rest of the week is looking poor, but by the weekend the worst wind will move offshore if things go as predicted.

Spoke to the owner of krippled anchovy corporation yesterday. He said the party boats keeping 20 inch salmon should be ashamed taking next year's fish.
I agree but it is difficult to tell someone what to do if they are within the rules.
For us we have been letting the smalls go, especially as good as the action has been. We let a 23 incher (our devil fish)go last Sunday and were rewarded with a 21.5 pounder an hour later. If its slow and later in the game I would probably take a 21 incher home for dinner.
Minimum should be 23 inches - this would save a lot of fish.
I agree with upping the size limit and keeping it that way for the season. Also think there should be a punch card with a yearly limit on it. As for the working boats keeping 20 inch fish.... legally they have to. You're not supposed to release a legal size salmon. They dont fare too well after the release normally.
