Only a few halibut landed today, probably at least in part due to difficulty getting bait for most of the guys. High boat from here caught two and lost one on the three jacksmelt he caught for bait. Some stripers were caught on the beach last evening when a pair of fishermen caught nine is less than a half-hour under feeding birds. Another was caught this afternoon.
