A -1.9 foot tide will reveal many things. For Rick Gerlack it revealed a nice geoduck. When he described how much work it was to get this clam I realized again that the geoducks are safe from me. He had the top of his clam pipe 18" underground and had to dig a trench to lay in to reach down and grab the clam. Nice work, Mr. Gerlack, but I think I'll go get some cockles.
