Sunday totals: 3 halibut on one boat from "the beach", a couple other halibut taken, mostly speared. Some rockfish. No salmon.
Monday totals: a little halibut bite on the bar at the turn of the tide, a white sea bass from Pelican Point, slow rockfish bite, no salmon.

hoping to be floating in and out of the bay this weekend, maybe monday too. i'll let you know how i do and hope to hear some good news from someone before the week is out. heard from a friend that there are still sparse salmon slugs in very shallow water between bird and elephant.
Yes, there are some salmon out there, there's just a lot of water between them. Like your friend said, they are slugs, so it only takes one. It's just getting that one.
