   Not much to report on here. Halibut are biting at Marshall, even though it's a bit of a sorting exercise with the keepers being mostly just over 22"  and the majority being just under. Of the three boats I talked to that went back there the scores were six, four and three fish. There was another boat that went deep for rockfish today ands did well, even though the six by eight wave pacing made it a bit uncomfortable. But for those going to Rittenburg in the next six months, please note:


   Pacific Angler Sportfishing opened up the local bluefin season with one landed and one lost outside of the Farallones. The water ain't too warm, but it's warm enough for these critters, it seems. To be fair, it would appear that bluefin just need water that's barely warm enough and food. Lots of food. Kind of like teenage boys. 

   Also, Dungeness is closed, and probably traps for crab are still closed as well.
