Nick Strode caught this nice surfperch today, one of about 20 he and Gage Vogler caught this afternoon. The guys fishing near them were also catching fish. Most everybody was fishing with Carolina-rigged halved 6" Berkley Gulp Power Sandworms. The best bite was at and after the low tide. Here's a picture of one of the guys that were fishing near Nick:

One more note: The green can (Number 03) has been replaced. You may commence navigating.

  5. Your whining is offensive too! Quit antogonizing people get a real handle and say something contributing you would have to try and insult my intelligence i guess we all got issues. I hate stupid people to. Ever seen the ramp. Its to bad they sell fancy boats at a store but there is no store to buy a brain. Thanks love u too hilary

  6. The fact of the matter is this: No one cares how big or fast or fishable of a boat you have. No one cares how many or how few fish you have caught, or how big they are. Seriously....they are FISH!! Everyone is doing it. Have been for centuries. Go drag an anchovy from the Trees to Elephant in August and guess what?? You'll probably catch a fish, maybe even a salmon. What matters? What matters is that the water is dangerous. Spend enough time out there, especially in Tomales, and chances are good you will need help someday. Your badass boat will break down. You will run out of gas. Your prop will become wrapped in a crab pot line. You might flip on the bar, or sink because of some unforseen circumstance. I don't know anonymous, ab fish, or most other guys who post here, and wouldn't recognize them if they were throwing me a line or I them. And i wouldn't care. You know who doesn't post here? The Old man of the Sea who catches more fish than all of us put together. He is a loner, an outcast, who keeps to himself and gives a gull's ass what all you guys think or how many fish you catch. I look for him every time I'm out.

Don't like the ramp? Find another one. I hope every single man jack who uses this blog stops and sends a few bucks at Lawsons every single time they are out. They even have a dock for you to tie up on.
