Marty Smith of Santa Rosa and Lou Zanardi of Penngrove nailed limits of salmon to 20 pounds yesterday while fishing off of Tomales Point. The fish were on the bite in the mid- to late morning but not sticking particularly well, probably because the salmon are so full of krill. Their stomachs are so stretched out that they look like they would bust open if they ate one more thing. I guess that it's lucky for us fishermen that they're gluttons.
