Don Mosby of Sacramento brought in the first white sea bass of the year yesterday. It weighed 29 pounds and was taken near Hog Island while he was fishing for halibut. The salmon bite was good yesterday and the ocean was pretty nice. Today it's a bit bumpy but the forecast is now calling for a week of decent weather (if you don't mind fog).
