The salmon are still out there, patiently waiting for the water to lay down enough for the rest of us to go get them. For those that can't wait, the fish are being caught out in about 60-70 feet of water if you can keep them hooked. If you'd rather wait for nicer weather we may get it starting on Wednesday. It's not good weather but, near the beach at least, it looks to be less bad. There were a few more salmon hooked on the bar this morning, too.
Here's a couple pictures of would-be halibut fishermen Kelley Roy and Herman Rinkel. The flatties wouldn't cooperate but the stripeys did, back by Marshall on Sunday.

What was the bait? Live anchovies? Trolling or drifting?
Trolling with dodgers white hoochie and other line with RSK anchovy. Hooked these two in the first hour then nodda until a thresher wanted in on the action around noon - we released him. Ok day but ZERO halibut:(

Spose one could but I'm not a river fisherman - love the salty fish. Those two were incidental fish, but I hear they are great eats- can't wait to try them.
Ab take a peak on the beach - what's going on out there?....thinking of heading down tomorrow.
My brother and I went out Monday and got limits of salmon in front of bird rock, 100' of water 50' down. Got a personal best on a Watermelon Apex. How do I send in a photo?
