SWEET!!!!! Happy to know they are back. Picked up a 45 pounder last year and man those are great EATS.

I don't know, but he probably wasn't fishing for sea bass. Live bait for halibut is my guess.

Caught by accident while going for halibut

You got a 45 pounder in to males?

That JD guy is a master photoshopper!

I think that the earlier comment was that, although it's a beautiful fish, Kyle Shepherd thought that it would look better in his boat.

He caught on outgoing tide. Live anchovy, drifting for halibut, bass rod.

I thought I might have hooked one today. Turned out to be a bat ray foul hooked on my swimbait.

Just like an episode of ABC Sports: "The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat" all in one fish. Gotta love mud marlin.

45 pounder was outside by bird rock, although last year there were a couple of sea WSB taken in Tomales that I know of....

Willy,

Do you guys have a weather station? Getting conflicting reports with the wind. Nearest seems to be Bodega Head, but a lot changes between it and you

No weather station. Closest would be here http://www.bml.ucdavis.edu/boon/tomales_bay_buoy.html
if it were working.
