I got a look at some of the crab testing results. The domoic acid level in the crab from the northern ports stayed the same or went up slightly while the southern ports dropped a bit. Fort Bragg was low but Bodega Bay got a little worse. The most recent collection date was 11/3, so it will be quite interesting to see the results from this weeks tests with colder water. If warmer water was to blame then we should see some better results.

It seems for such a serious health issue the sample sizes are rather small.
Any ideas on fighting the bay bridge implosion tried the army core, cal trans, epa, water board no body cares about the endangered green sturgeon.

Ab fish: NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service has ESA authority over green Sturgeon, which are ESA listed as threatened. Call their Sacramento office.
Ab fish ~ come on, give it a rest... you're beginning(?) to sound like a tree-hugger which is not all bad, but, can sometimes be a bit overboard. I'm thinking, maybe they leave the "rubble" instead of carting it away because it would be great critter / fish habitat ~ like a reef, hence, benefitting the ecosystem, including the sturgeon.

so what do you know DFW says they will update the crab recordings on Wednesdays at 1:00. Well that didn't happen. Don't we pay there salaries. Must be nice to have a job where you don't have to worry about deadlines.
