John Rosasco with a 24# salmon. John and Tom Gerbi caught 3 salmon, lost a 4th, on monday in 60' of water at the north end of Driftwood beach. Watermelon Krippled Anchovy near the bottom. Again, some boats caught, some not, these gentlemen doing better than most.

i hope there's some folks out there weather fishing at least. the ocean has looked pretty darn nice from ocean beach the last couple days ... of course this weather is going to promptly give way to the usual pattern for the weekend. oh well, maybe the mornings will cooperate. any good news willy?

If the wind blows hard enough to start cooling the water off expect some halibut on the bar as the cold water starts to move in. If such a bite happens it will be short-lived so timing is everything. That's the only good news for the forecast.
